Yeah, yeah, its been a while since I last updated. It's been a crazy week. Been working at Columbia House now for a week. It's been alright. Probably the best job I've had so far, but that really isn't saying much. I have been assigned to a project that converts dates from a Gregorian Calendar or Julian format to GWD and vice versa. Now this GWD format is a format that gives the week and day of the week (both zero based) starting at January 1970. This is about one of the worst ways to format, but it was apparently the best way to do it, when they began coding in 1970. But since it needs to communicate with all this old stuff, we have to be able to convert back and forth. Eh, it hasn't been a hard project. Whatev.
Wednesday we got to move in, a day before they were gonna originally let us. It was rather nice to get in and sleep on my own bed in my own room. The house feels so much more like home, than it ever has before. It is so nice to just be out on my own with a few of my closest friends and only depend on each other for survival. I feel so much more grown up and such right now. I have my own house and a full time job doing something I could see myself doing for more than just summer. It's a nice feeling.
I love being able to listen to music at work. I can totally zone better. Some good rock is perfect for coding.
Friday was great. We had many people over, which was awesome to see. This is something I'm looking forward to with this house. I am a rather social person, so I love it when people come by, if even only to hang out for a little.
Saturday, Katie and I got up early to head to her mother's house to help her move in. Yes, this was the big day I met Katie's family. I was a little nervous at first, but they really warmed up to me, making me feel awesome. Her grandparents even hugged me on their way out the door, stating I was "family now, and in this family we hug." I hope my parents respond similarily to Katie in a couple weeks when I bring her home. I definately felt welcome with them.
Sunday we drove back. We had to leave early because Katie's ex boyfriend needed a ride and had to be back early for work. How do you spell awkward? She didn't tell him I was coming with her either, so I got a nice "what the hell are you doing here?" look from him. I definately got a few "would you please just leave, I want to hang out with Katie" vibes from him. I don't think he likes me. I dunno. It was rather awkward.
After we drop this guy off at his apartment, we go over to a nearby lake and just chill. One of the few times I was able to just sit with her and relax. It was awesome. It was gorgeous outside too. Then the idea to go golfing came up, se we headed back Terrible Haute and got my golf clubs and hit a driving range. It was nice to hit a golf ball again. I hadn't golfed since last summer. I really want to play again. Katie's not bad either, so it would be fun to play her some time. I would just have to try not to get too competitive. It's hard. She's been golfing since she was seven, so she would probably kick my ass any way. Eh, whatever.
So my Cardinals rock. With the best record in the National League and a nice 7-1 win over the defending World Series champions, Red Sox, my Cards are looking better than ever. And Matt Morris even pitched a 1 run complete game win. Matt Morris is looking like the ace he once was. Definately fun to watch.
Well, its points time again, ladies and gentlemen. To start off with, 250 points to my Kate for an awesome month. It was one of the best. You are the greatest. 25 points a piece to TSAV for a successful move-in. 15 points to all who came to our move in party. 20 points to the cable guy for giving us internet. -15 points to Nick's hub for taking my internet away. Little punk. 10 points a piece to Katie's family for making me feel welcome. 50 points to Amy for being an awesome listener. Thanks so much. 65 points to Adam for being a considerate roommate, but -15 for scaring the living shit out of me with your sleep yelling. 35 points to Tom for driving us to IHOP on Friday night. It was awesome. 25 points to Sara for making us some awesome pizza. 20 points to Tom for making work interesting when its so boring. 45 points to those who read my blog regularly. Another 40 for those who comment. Another 2 to 25 points for those who leave a comment that makes me smile. More points for creativity.
I will leave you with some Blink 182 to change things up a little. Good band, haven't listened to them in a while, but fit my mood rather well.
I got no regret right now (I’m feeling this)
The air is so cold and low (I’m feeling this)
Let me go in her room (I’m feeling this)
I love all the things you do (I’m feeling this)
Show me the way to bed (I’m feeling this)
Show me the way you move (I’m feeling this)
Fuck it, it's such a blur (I’m feeling this)
I love all the things you do (I’m feeling this)
Fate fell short this time
Your smile fades in the summer
Place your hand in mine
I’ll leave when I wanna
Where do we go from here
Turn all the lights down now
Smiling from ear to ear (I’m feeling this)
Our breathing has got too loud (I’m feeling this)
Show me the bedroom floor (I’m feeling this)
Show me the bathroom mirror (I’m feeling this)
We’re taking this way too slow (I’m feeling this)
Take me away from here (I’m feeling this)
This place was never the same again
After you came and went
How can you say you meant anything different
To anyone standing alone
On the street with a cigarette
On the first night we met
Look to the past
And remember and smile.
And maybe tonight
I can breathe for awhile.
I'm not in the scene
I think I'm fallin' asleep
But then all that it means is
I'll always be dreaming of you

Reconsider Everything on a Wednesday Afternoon
So it's been a little while since I last posted, I know, but I've been hella busy. I started working at Columbia House yesterday, and haven't done squat so far. Right now, I'm just here, chillin' and waiting for them to give me something to do. It's tough because my project manager is out of town and will eb gone until tomorrow, but I'll be gone tomorrow to move into my house, so I won't see him until Friday. I have looked over some of his Java code already and found some errors and just a couple spots where he was just highly ineffecient. It was the first time he had ever written Java code, so I'll give him a break. I have nothing left to do though. I have looked over the code a billion times, and have been downloading random things all day. Blah.
However, speaking of moving in, apparently we are moving in right now. We were supossed to not be abel to till tomorrow, but for some odd reason, we can now. Nick and Adam are in this process as we speak. I wish I could go help them right now. I think I am going out my mind just sitting here. That's what Rose will do to you. Last night after work, I came back to New Res and just hung out and relaxed. But I felt guilty. I felt like there was something I should be doing and by just sitting there I was slacking. I can't even friggin' relax any more!! Thanks, Rose.
It is gonna be nice being in the house soon. I can't wait to be fully moved in. We are having a party this Friday to celebrate it. My Kate is coming which will make even more enjoyable. Then on Saturday, we are going up to her home to help her mother move. It should be interesting. I have never met her parents, so I am a little nervous. First impressions can be everything, so I really hope my first impression on them is good. Well, we'll find out. Wish me luck. Anyway, if anyone is in Terre Haute or in the area, come by our house on S. 20th St. It'll be a good time and anyone who reads my blog is invited.
So turns out, my Cardinals rock. They have the best record in the National League and second best record in baseball to only the White Sox. They currently have an astounding seven and a half game lead in the central division, the biggest lead they have had by the month of June....ever. Up until this point, the largest lead the Cardinals had ever had by June was a mere 3 game lead. At this point in the season, most team have an at most a five game lead and currently only the White Sox have even close to this lead with a five game lead. This is just nuts. The season is far from over, but my boys are looking good thus far. And these last few weeks have been without our star third baseman, Scott Rolen. Go Cardinals!! For those who put up with my latest Cardinals rant, thank you.
I love how Kate not only puts up with the Cardinals, but has actually started to follow them herself. That is sooo hot. She is just so awesome. For those who just put up with my latest Kate rant, thank you.
I don't really want to still be at work right now. It wouldn't be too bad if I had things to do. But I don't. And so I sit here and, for now, blog.
So turns out I'm working with Tom Aigner, which is pretty fun. We goof off together sometimes, especially when we don't have anything to do. Aka, all the time. He's fun to mess with, as he will mess with me right back. The third intern is another guy from Rose, named Zeke Lundstrom. I have no idea who this guy is. I tried facebooking him, but he's not on it. We hope we can mess with him too. We'll see.
Well I'll leave ya with some good ole 311 that I've been humming to myself all day. I think it was the last thing playing in my car when I got here. Whatever, it's a good song. I love the idea of thinking for yourself that this song pushes. I just love that. So many times people just have these ideas without anthing to back them up or any idea as to why it would make sense. That's why I love it when a blog stirs up a little controversy, it causes you to stop and think. And a good debate about the issue causes people to have a reason behind it. Anywho, great song. Read it!!
How many times will they do the same thing?
How did they get programmed to your following?
Everyone's locked up in their suffering
The only way you can tell is reconsider everything
What if the truth is that there is no truth
The only thing I can prove is there is no proof
Don't be so sure that your source is correct
People believed it before, before they had checked
How many times can they tell you
Til you just give them their way
How many times can they sell you
Til you let them have their say
Every time you will ignore your
Heart it will come back twice more
Never deny your own instinct
Reconsider Everything
Everybody want something they control
Some just want grass some they want gold
Either way does it feel good or feel low
Taking you down not fast but real slow
Rebellion done for it's own sake
Does not a true free thinker make
To go against for it's own sake
You're still controlled by the course that the other man takes

Crack the Code on a Friday Night
Wow, this has been one crazy week. I submitted a resume, got an interview and a job offer. On Tuesday, I got to go visit Kate, which was awesome. We didn't do much more than just walking around campus, but it was really nice. I love just walking around under the moonlight, just talking with her. It was a nice relaxing time. Then on Wednesday after my interview, I went to Columbus with Nick. That was rather fun as well. We met Mike, Katie (not to be confused with Kate) and Steph there and hung out with them. It was fun. And then on Thursday we hit up Best Buy where we all saw the same vision. While I was there I got a call back from Columbia House that they wanted me for the job. So with all of with nice jobs, our TV is gonna be quite pimpin'. We are all looking forward to it. Now I'm back at home, chillin' with the Rabbi and Nick. We are working on the 24 hour play festival. Should be a good time.
Not much more to say as I should get some sleep before the show. But I will leave you with some 311 lyrics because they have been stuck in my head for a while. It's all Kate's fault. But I love it, what can I say?
I want the words
something you haven't heard
will I find them and
will I have what it takes to say them
in the world beside
this one there are no lies and
no suspicion
only dreams without end
You gotta feel what I mean
Look into my eyes and know
I'm trying to come clean
But I stumble every time
And then the words they escape
fail to take shape
It's all in the code now (come again)
Feel what I mean
Look into my eyes and know
I'm trying to come clean
But I stumble every time
And then the words they escape
fail to take shape
It's all in the code now
Will you let me retract let me take it back
Sometimes my words lack and my mind flies off the track
What I'm trying to convey is miles from what I say
And you slip away
In life there are times
when nothing will rhyme
there are days I slip
when I know I should climb
breakin' the vows I swore I'd never break
a harsh word a white lie easy to mistake
where have you been
haven't you noticed
there's no map that exists
to point us out of this
my heart was the target
it found your arrow
baby you know I want to be
your straight and narrow
I been trying to transmit a feeling
I been hoping you receive what I'm revealing
See the main thing is hang with me and relate
As we communicate watch out
Fenced in like a dog between houses
Balled up by the trouble my mouth gets
Wrapped up in the things that I don't know
don't you know
Hoping that you crack the code oh
The first to crack the code
(You may not think I'm ready to have your love again) oh oh
(You may not think I'm ready)
You are the first to crack my code
I want the words
something you haven't heard
will I find them and
will I have what it takes to say them
You gotta gotta feel what I mean
Look into my eyes and know
I'm trying to come clean
But I stumble every time
And then the words they escape
fail to take shape
It's all in the code now
Didn't I know I'm wrong wrong wrong when you knew
You didn't have to give me so long long long to see through
Not predictable what I will do but you know
Cause you cracked the code
Your body is a country
that you know I'll return to
craving like a family heirloom
that I am into
no baby how could I follow
everything you do
just remember when we touch
I feel so renewed
The first to understand me that would be you
It can't work if we can't be open and true
The best thing to happen to me let it be told
That would be the moment that you cracked my code oh oh

Other Side of Things on a Thursday Night
So I was gonna update Sunday night, but I was working on a couple papers for way too long. So right now I am operating on about 2 hours of sleep. That should make this week interesting. I better get some sleep tonight. I'll at least start a post.
Friday was fun. Adam's friend Sara came to visit so we took her to Mogger's. God, I love that place. I got the Rueben sandwich, and I must say, one of the best Rueben sandwiches I have ever had. Then afterwards, we hung out for a little before heading over the multi-media arts fest over in the Union. Brandon Javella was trying to do his One Act, but had to alter it a bit since he couldn't get all of his actors there. So they decided they wanted a plant in the audience, to give them crap about the show so they could yell at them. Well, being the nice guy I am, I volunteered. And then we came up with the idea that it would be hilarious if Adam came and did a nice stage punch and dropped me to the floor and left me there the entire show. Well Adam couldn't pull off a very convincing punch, so i suggested he run at me and throw the elbow. Well to make a long story short, Adam got really into the part and nailed me, my head bouncing off the couch giving me a few nice bruises. Kinda funny, reminded me of football, geting sacked hard, not really knowing what hit ya. I really miss the sport, but I digress.
Saturday Katie and Steph came to see the show and stuck around for the cast party. It was a blast. Elliot, Kevin and Mike came as well. I think we have convinced Mike to join drama club, which should be fun. It was Nick's birthday so we got him an ice cream cake. We also decided to get some trick candles for it too, but they had burned half the way down as it took him forever to get back inside. For some reason right when I lit the candles, he heads outside and nearly has to be dragged back in. Punk, we were trying to do something nice for your birthday and you are being difficult. So we got you trick candles. Ho ho, we got you good, you f#@%er! Well, he got plastered for his birthday, so if you want to mess with him, make up something that happened that night and then go on to tell him all about it.
On Tuesday I got to go see my Kate in Bloomington. It was a great time. We didn't do much, but it really didn't matter. She had planned for us to watch the Cardinals game that night, but it wasn't on ESPN and she doesn't get Fox Sports Net. But it was the thought that counts. I have not only found a girl that will put up with my Cardinals, but will plan to watch them with me. That's hot. So instead we walked all over IU, getting the nice grand tour. It was fun and friggin huge. It lasted over two and a half hours, and we didn't even see it all. I showed her Rose and it lasted under an hour and we stopped for a while in the SRC talking to Nick and Adam. Anywho, it was fun to just walk around IU, taking in the hugeness of it, enjoying the stars and moonlight and my awesome tour guide.
Then on Wednesday night Kate came back with me to see Star Wars with us for the midnight premeire. It was a great time, and a pretty good movie. Worth the little sleep I got because of it.
So I've been getting into 311 a lot lately, a pretty good band I must say. Look at what you've done to me, Kate. Only fair I guess though. :-P
Now for points: 500 points to Kate for making this smile never leave. 50 points to the Star Wars crew for a good time. 100 points to Sami for being willing to give me a back massage when I need it, and being willing to walk across campus to do so, you so rock. Another 100 to my TSAV bros, because you rock and are always looking out for me. You are my true friends. 35 points to Jesseca for excellent garlic bread pizza. An additional 50 points to anyone to say something awesome about the Cardinals in a comment, and -50 points if you say anything against them, baseball or pro-Cubs. 25 points to anyone who comments at all. 85 points to whoever TPed Nick and Adam's room for an awesome prank. The whole TP thing is over dones, so this one went above and beyond a normal TPing. Very nice, my hat is off. 45 points a piece to Katie, Steph and Sara for coming for the weekend, it was fun to have you. 37 points to Jesseca for understanding my feeling right now. 35 points a piece to Steph and Sara for appreciating my back massages and give me a self esteem boost (as if I really needed it). 200 points to my little bro Danny for his graduation tonight and getting Summa Cum Laude for being in the top 1% of his class. He's a hard worker and very smart, and deserves every bit of recognition for it. I'm very proud of him and can't wait to see him when I go home in about a week. Good job and congrats bro.
Sorry nothing real insightful in this post, just not feeling insightful right now. Well I will leave you with some 311 to chew on.
Houston we have a problem
all this TV has made us dumb
anxious is what we've become
too much prozac in our systems
it's our mental condition
it's our mental condition
one thing lacks is education
institutions fuck with our
Emotions are elastic
they stretch out and back
stretch out and back
sometimes they just snap
they don't go back
they never go back
What if it were true
that you weren't so blue
and you felt like you
could just do anything
but we're facing the sunset
and for a moment it
looks like it's rising
and we are on the other side of things
There's no procrastination maybe I should do it get to it straight
I see people wasting time with so much pointless debate
I can't wait for the over analytical politically correct
Upset by threats to the national mindset
I bet we'd let reverse psychology mob mentality over our ecology
A college we could learn but we usually we burn and then we waste it
Taste it time and time again it's time to take your medicine

Pressing On on a Friday Night
I'm in a pretty good mood right now. Tonight was fun. We didn't really do much, but the core drama club people are fun to be with. I'm looking forward to the party tomorrow night. It should be a good time. We'll have Cast Awards, which are always fun. Kind of annoyed with how the whole cast awards worked this show though. Why the hell are all the officers so friggin uneasy around me? Especially Rebecca. Does she think I'm gonna snap because of her total lack of confidence in me as president for the next year? Does she think I'm gonna spazz out because she helped lose me the presidency? I don't hold grudges. I have always had trouble holding any kind of grudge. Even people who hurt me deeply on purpose, I have this thing where I will still forgive them and move on. Things may not be the same and I may not trust a person like I did before, but I have a lot of trouble holding a grudge. So why the hell do you treat me like a friggin outsider?? Until this year is over, I'm still the friggin VP, so don't treat me like some freshman who came in on the first day of orientation demanding the respect of RDC exec. It drives me nuts sometimes.
So traditionally, the cast awards are chosen by the President and Vice President and maybe a couple of seniors who have paid their dues in RDC. For the first two shows, I have been asked to come along, as VP. I could not go at the time she wanted to go for the first, but went on the second and they were some of the best awards ever. But for this show, I only wasn't invited, but it was almost hidden from me. I come to pick up night, and Rebecca seems almost embarassed that I was there, seeing that Cast Awards were being done. So as VP, I help her out with collecting them and such and then ask when we are getting them. The question is totally avoided. It's like walking in on a party that you find out you're not invited to, in your own house. It was like really awkward and really protrayed, we would rather you not be here. Did I ever do anything to offend anyone in charge of this club. I have given this club my all, and will continue to do so. I have great visions for this club, and I will not sit back and take a back seat to this. I may not be president next year, or hell, even an officer at all, but I will help lead this club in the best direction and help it reach the potential people never realized it had.
Hmmmm, ok getting off the soap box now.
So I got this message tonight on Facebook, that just made my night. Like I'm not sure this smile is going away any time soon. And she knows who she is, as I only got one message. She has been making me smile a lot lately. And it is most awesome.
We watched Garden State tonight. Such an amazing movie. Every time I watch that movie, it makes me think about life and what the hell I am doing any more. Such an intriguing film, one of the best made. I can relate a lot to Zach Braff's character, which scares me some times, but I'm learning and understanding a lot in life right now. These years certainly are the crossroads of life. These next few years determine so many things in my life, but I feel at a peace.
Not much more for tonight, it's getting kind of late, but I will leave you with some good ole Relient K. Such an awesome band, never gets old.
I think we're going somewhere.
We're on to something good here.
Out of mind, out of state.
Trying to keep my head on straight.
I think we're going somewhere.
We're on to something good here.
There's only one thing left to do.
Drop all I have and go with you.
Somewhere back there I left my worries all behind.
My problems fell out of the back of my mind.
We're going and I'm never knowing (never knowing) where we're going.
To go back to where I was would just be wrong.
I'm pressing on.
Pressing on, all my distress is going, going, gone. (pressing on, pressing on)
And I won't sit back, and take this anymore.
'Cause I'm done with that, I've got one foot out the door.
And to go back where I was would just be wrong
I'm pressing on.
I think we're going somewhere.
We're on to something good here.
Out of mind, out of state.
Trying to keep my head on straight.
I think we're going somewhere.
We're on to something good here.
Adversity, we get around it.
Searched for joy, in you I found it.
You look down on me, but you don't look down on me at all.
You smile and laugh, and I feel the love you have for me.
I think we're going somewhere.
We're on to something good here, and we're gonna make it after all.

Beverly Hills on a Monday Night
So I'm getting the impression that either my riddle is too difficult, or no one cares unless it's on Mike's blog. Well in case it's too difficult, I have a few hints for you. Pay attention to formatting. Nothing is odd on accident, so if something seems out of the ordinary, there's some sort of clue there. I'm looking for a particular word. Just one word, that you will then use in a comment. Now for individual clues. Down on Wednesday Night: It may be hard to see, but it's there. Goodbye, Goodnight on A Thursday Night: Scrambled letters make a great team. Sing on a Friday Night: If you found scuba, you are getting warmer. I hope that helps. Please people, if it is to hard let me know. If you don't care, let me know as well, so I don't spend the time coming up with them any more. If you enjoy them, let me know as well. Feedback is always appreciated.
So this next section is some fortunes I have accumulated in the past few months. Some are humorous on their own, and some get better when you add stuff to the end of them. Here are a few:
Luck is coming your way.
Lucky#'s 27, 13, 55, 46, 33, 8
How convenient, this one wasn't written by the lottery was it?
You are talented in many ways.
Yes, yes, I am. :-P
You have the ability to adapt to diverse situations.
Hmmmm, what kind of situations are we talking here?
Be direct, usually one can accomplish more that way.
Thinking of any good pick up lines from this one?
And now my all time favorite:
You are the best.
Why yes, how did you know? This isn't an ego booster or anything.
Hehe, that was fun. It has been brought to my attention that my blog is rather ADD. I guess I can be kind of ADD some times.
You wanna go ride bikes?
So Adam has introduced me to Cake and Weezer lately, and I must say not bad. I have definately had Weezer's new single, "Beverly Hills" stuck in my head all day.
Mmmmmm, pasta alfredo late at night. Tasty. Too bad there's not much food in this house. That will change next year, I guarentee it. We all love food too much.
Not much more for this post so I think I'll end on the Weezer song stuck in my head.
Where I come from isn't all that great
My automobile is a piece of crap
My fashion sense is a little whack
And my friends are just as screwy as me
I didn't go to boarding schools
Preppie girls never looked at me
Why should they?
I ain't nobody
Got nothing in my pocket
Beverly Hills
That's where I want to be
Livin' in Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills
Rolling like a celebrity
Livin' in Beverly Hills
Look at all those movie stars
They're all so beautiful and clean
When the housemaids scrub the floors
They get the spaces in between
I wanna live a life like that
I wanna be just like a king
Take my picture by the pool
'cause I'm the next big thing
The truth is I don't stand a chance
It's something that you're born into
And I just don't belong
No I don't
I'm just a no-class beat down fool
And I will always be that way
I might as well enjoy my life
And watch the stars play

More Than Fine on a Saturday Night
So Nick left a survey thingy on his blog, and I spent a lot of time on it, so I figured I might as well post it here as well.
So I guess I'm jumping on the bandwagon and gonna give this one a shot. Plus I don't feel like sleeping right now and no one is online.
1.) When you're old, what will you tell your grandkids that they'll think is stupid?
I will tell them of the days when computers took up space and we had to use gas for our vehicles.
2.) Do you a.) Want kids, b.) Not want kids, or c.) Not have any idea whether or not you want kids. Those with kids can skip this one...
I have always wanted kids. Kids may have the ability to be little shits, but I have always loved how you can shape them so much and help mold an awesome person. No idea on how many though, I think that will depend greatly on my spouse, and how we are feeling about kids at that point.
3.) If you could be what you actually wanted to, what would you be?
An actor, no doubt. I love performing and it is just so soothing. I love directing as well though, but nothing is like the feeling of being on stage in front of a packed house and feeling the energy of the crowd getting into the show and just feeding off of it and becoming some great character. But there is definately a sense of accomplishment when you direct a good show and develop young actors.
4.) Describe your dream vacation. Where, how, and with whom.
Mmmmm, somewhere on a beach, much like spring break this year in Florida. We would surf, swim and chill all day, sip a pina colada, occasionally talk a walk or jog on the beach and eat great awesome food again, with plenty of fresh seafood, fresh off the grill. I'd definately bring my 3 Sats and a Volvo, and of course Katie, as well as the guys next door in New Res, and prolly any of my good friends, both here and the Lou.
5.) Tell me why your favorite band is the best band ever.
Hmmmmm, I have a lot of favorite bands, but my all time favorite would have to be Toby Mac. I love most kinds of music (minus country, but I barely consider that music) but most of all I love hip-hop and rock. Well, Toby's style is a nice rock based hip-hop, a best of both worlds.
6.) What do you look for in a significant other? What do you wish you looked for?
Well the first thing I look for as it is the easiest to spot is if she is hot or not. That may sound to some as superficial, but I need to be attracted to someone to date them. Now what attracts me isn't the same and I think there is someone who finds everyone attractive, but she needs to be attractive to me. Also, I like a girl with a great sense of humor, will put up with my Cardinals obsession, with similar beliefs (yes Mahoney, that is important), a gorgeous smile. I like a girl who can smile and make me feel like I am worth everything.
7.) If you were going to commit suicide, what would your note say if it could only hold one sentence?
This one is tough, I have never really thought about suicide really. I really cannot imagine myself committing suicide as it really doesn't make sense to me. It's not like just pressing restart, let's try that again, but it's final, you're done. However if I did do this act I think the note I left I would want to a final word to those I loved, as they are most likely to be the ones who found me. They would never fully understand why I did it, so I don't think it would help try to explain, but I would want to make they know it wasn't them, so it would probably be along the lines of, "It wasn't you, I love you."
8.) What is your favorite food (or drink) and why?
Food-I think it really depends on my mood, but lately (as in the past couple of years) my favorite meal has been pork chops and orange rice. Most have probably not heard of this dish, but I know my Sunday dinner group has had it and it is mighty good.
Drink-Fitz's Root Beer, without a doubt. If you like root beer, this is the best, especially right there at Fitz's restaurant where they micro-brew it. Sooo fresh and soo smooth. Perfect.
I really don't have much, I was thinking about another riddle, but no one has even figured out the past two. Is it too hard? If so, let me know and I will see if I can give you a better hint. I won't insult your genius, although I did expect Nick and Mike to get it by now. Maybe it is just so obvious to me as I came up with it. I don't know.
I think I will end on some Switchfoot lyrics. Great band.
When I wake in the morning,
I want to blow into pieces.
I want more than just ok, more than just ok.
When I'm up with the sunrise
I want more than just blue skies.
I want more than just ok, more than just ok.
I'm not giving up, giving up, not giving up now.
I'm not giving up, giving up, not backing down.
More than fine, more than bent on getting by.
More than fine, more than just ok.
When I'm wet with the sunshine.
I want more than just a good time.
I want more than just ok, more than just ok.
More than oceans away from the dawn.
More than oceans away from the dawn.
More than oceans away from who we are
More than oceans, more than oceans, yeah.

Sing on a Friday Night
So apparently the number of comments I get is directly proportional to how often I update. The more often I update, the less people comment, but when I update after a long while, i get plenty of comments. Now this seems to reinforce the wrong behavior, as most that read my blog want me to update more often. I don't know, just a thought.
So people seem to have trouble with my riddle, so for this one I think I may make it a little easier, but at the same time, that's not as fun either and may not encourage people to take the time to figure it out. If the whole thing doesn't really interest you as well, let me know. I'm also trying to gage the interest, as I am not gonna take the time to create it, if people could care less anyway.
This clue may be a little easier to follow, since it is only in this paragraph. Anyone may get it, but I expect those doing the notPr0n riddle to be better at it. Blame Mike for getting me started on it. All I can say is it's fun. Scuba should help with it though. Could that be a better hint? Oh Nick better get this one, just be creative in the comment area.
Hehe, that was fun. Hopefully I will have you toying with that for hours. Those who figure it out, just use it in your comment, but be creative, don't give it away.
So one of Nick and Adam's roommates is still being retarded. I just keep telling myself that I only have to deal with him a few more weeks. Whatever, not gonna let it bother me.
Not much more for this post as it is kinda late. I'll leave ya with some more Jars.
I love the way, the way you carry on
You make me wanna say, you make me wanna sing another love song
Bury my head for the shame, you pick me pup, you say I look like you
Though it makes no sense to me, you make me believe that I could trust someone
Through flame, I touch the fire, you know that I still burn for you
Flood water rain crash down, soak the ground, still I thirst for you
Still I thirst for you
Sing another love song, sing another love song
Though it makes no sense to me, it make me want to sing
Make me wanna sing

Goodbye, Goodnight on A Thursday Night
So this whole handing out points thing at the end of the blog is fun so I think I may continue it, although I may save it for every once in a while so it Doesn't lose it's value. I don't know, we'll see.
Today has been rather blah. It seemed to just pass by without making any kind of impact. It's kind of a weird feeling, but like my day, It too will pass.
So we are getting Star Wars tickets for the midnight premeire. If you would Like in on this, let me know by the end of Friday night. Leaving a comment that you want to go works as well.
I enjoyed the NotPr0n type riddle I left in the last post. Congrats to Nick for being the first to solve it. I encourage the rest of you to see if you can find it as well. I am leaving another one in this one as well. Those who leave the Clue in their comment will get 500 points. Oh and be creative.
Not much more to post about. I leave you with some good ole Jars of Clay. I must say, an awesome band.
A flower for your vanity, a penny for your thoughts
About the world's insanity and how we've gotten lost
Strike up the band to play a Song as we go waltzing by
And fake A smile as we all say goodbye
Goodbye, oh goodbye
Say a prayer for Recognition, kiss the ones you love
Gather up the ammunition, sigh for all the lost
Strike up the band to play a song as we go waltzing by
And fake a smile as we all say goodbye
Raise a glass for ignorance, drink a toast to fear
The beginning of the end has come that's why we all are here
Strike up the band to play a song and try hard not to cry
And fake a smile as we all say goodbye
Goodbye

Down on Wednesday Night
So these last few days have been great. On Tuesday, after my EDM test, which of course sucked, that's just how Herniter is, I drove down to Bloomington to see Kate. That was awesome. For those who don't know Kate, she is a Pre-Med Bio Major at Indiana University. A very wonderful and beautiful girl. We had a great time, just hanging out at her dorm. Let me tell ya, IU dorms are not just like Rose dorms. For one, their doors lock automatically. I don't know how many guys at Rose would be screwed if it was true here. To even operate the elevator, you needed your key. Same with the kitchen. Crazy. So I made her my speciality, Chicken Terryaki, although this time it turned out a lot different than normal. See this time, since I only wanted two chicken breasts, I had to get the precooked sealed chicken breasts, as it came in packs of two. So I marinated them in the terryaki and then cooked it in the marinade, but it made more of a glaze over the chicken than cooking into the chicken. It wasn't bad, but different. The chicken wasn't quick as juicy, but the glaze made for an interesting taste. I got the thumbs up from Kate, which was all that mattered. We continued to watch Baseball Tonight. Yep, you read that right, we watched Baseball Tonight. How friggin romantic. Well, she likes baseball too, or at least is willing to put up with it rather well, which I must say is hot. Then we popped in the second DVD of Harry Potter, since I have seen the first one and the third, but not the second. I must say it was pretty good. Oh and then came a rather priceless moment. So Kate's ex comes and knock on the door to ask if he can use her car to move his stuff, but gets extremely uncomfortable as soon as he spots me and seems to want to leave several times before he is able to run off. I wasn't even doing anything, but sitting there while Kate answered the door. As far as it looked, I was just some friend who came by hanging out. I dunno, it was just kind of humorous.
So turns out, alot more people read my blog than I thought. Not many really make comments though, except Nick and Mike. Thanks guys, you rock.
So a friend of mine's boyfriend was an idiot. This is what gives guys a bad name. How can people be so stupid? Drives me nuts sometimes.
But I'll wait outside
Hoping that I'll catch sight of the sun.
I love Relient K. I listened to them all the way back from Bloomington, and it totally rocked. That is one of my favorite bands, no doubt.
When you're around
I don't know what to say
I don't know what to do
To let you know just what I'm thinking
So both Adam and Nick are in my Disco and S&S classes and Adam is in my Tech Comm class. The only class without one of them is Comp Arch. That will be fun I think. Not sure who is gonna teach my Tech Comm and S&S class yet, but I hope they are good. We'll find out.
Not much more tonight, and I wanted to go to bed at a decent hour. I think I'll end with some points. So 200 points to Kate for being awesome and putting up with my baseball and more importantly Cardinals obsession. 50 points a piece to Nick and Mike for commenting. Another 50 points to 3 Saturns and a Volvo (including Sami and Jesseca, yeah, you two are in the group as well) for being so awesome and supportive. 25 points to Jon for being cool at Sunday dinner. 30 points to some guy named Greg who loves baseball as well and apparently approves of me, which is always nice. -15 points to Crystal for being done already (damn Purdue), but 40 points for a fun talk. 100 points a piece to all members of the One Acts as you guys were totally awesome this weekend. 50 points for everyone who came out to see the shows and support us, and 30 points for those who came to the most rockin cast party. 25 points to Lindsey for kicking Bander's ass, even though he tapped out. 15 to Javella for a good time on the guitar, you're a legend man. -15 to Sami for thinking I'm old, but 50 points for being awesome anyway. I think that's all for now. Oh another 75 points to anyone who comments here. A billion points who mention notPr0n in the comment.
Oh and Mike's uber riddle is fun and amazingly frustrating. The creativity of those who made it is awesome. I wonder if anyone will notice what I put into this one like it.
I think I will end with some 311, a pretty good band and fun music. This one is a classic and a fun one.

The General on a Monday Night
So this weekend has been totally awesome. The One Acts went so well, I was very happy. The casts performed exceptionally well. We had a couple great crowds as well, which really adds to the show. Overall, they really came through and showed how the One Acts were to be taken seriously as a real show, and not some filler in between shows to keep kids who did not get in Picasso quiet. Greg pissed me off beyond belief on the second night though. See Bunny and Greg (our normal directors) did not attend a single show. Bunny was out of town, something she had planned before we even scheduled the One Acts. That happens, I understand. But Greg was here. And still did not feel like attending it and supporting the group that supports him. Not only did he not attend the One Acts, but he was in the wood shop sawing away and sanding, something rather loud, not even bothering to close the door while my cast is performing. That is incredibly rude. Way to broadcast you could not give a shit about what we do if you're not running it. That just drove me nuts. Just a few days prior on Wednesday, just two days before we opened, we were supposed to have the stage from 6:30 till 8 so we could have a couple days on the stage before performance, which isn't much time as it is. At 6 I get there and there Greg is, working on stuff for Picasso. I ask him how much longer he is gonna need to sue the stage as we need to start setting up for our practice, and he responds with a sigh and "Bob, you don't get the stage tonight, Picasso needs to look good. Not many are coming to One Acts anyway, be happy you can use Hatfield for the show at all." Wow, he might as well have ended it with the finger and a nice "F#%@ you." I wasn't being an ass, I wasn't even demanding the stage right at that point, I just wanted to know when we were gonna be able to use it, being as completely civilized as possible. So I told him that we really needed to use the stage and that Bunny had already okayed it. But he told me that he didn't know about that (making it sound like he didn't trust me on that) and that I needed to leave him alone as he had importnat stuff to do. Way to totally look down on me. Way to make sure I never totally respect you again.
So apparently one of my closest friends' roommate hates me. So on Friday night after the One Acts, we all go to Denny's, not the ghetto one, but the good one. Afterwards we come back and I walk into Adam and Nick's room seeing whats going, and hang up my coat like I always do. The roommate comes out from under the deck, so I ask him how it's going, a polite hi. He responds with "Quiet! It's finally nice and quiet without you drunk f%#@ers." He then turns and walks up the deck and gives me a freezing look. So I head next door, obviously not wanted. Kevin comes back with the movie and suggests that we watch it next door since they have more room. I told him it's probably not a good idea as neither Adam nor Nick are with us. So he goes next door to ask the roommate if it would be fine and that he was welcome to watch with us. He is met with the same hostility as I am. He comes back telling us the verdict and that this guy seems to be pissed and that I may want to get my coat out of there. Apparently even having my coat around is pissing this guy off. So I run over there and grab it, and as I leave I see the end of him flipping me off. I actually had to chuckle at the extent that this guy doesn't like me. I didn't really do anything, I guess I just overstayed my welcome with this guy. He was getting pissed off that his room was becoming a fun place to be, the dream of most college students. He was pissed off the previous weekend that there were people in the room at 11pm on a Saturday. On a Saturday!!! And it wasn't even late. So he proceeded to ask everyone to leave. Even my parents who are known for kicking people out when I have friends over when they go to bed don't kick people out at 11 any more. But this guy didn't agree with the partying going on and kicked everyone out and locked it. Whatever. Only a few more weeks of him and then I never have to see him again.
Well regardless of certain people being d-bags, the weekend was rather enjoyable. Kate came, which was rather fun. And we all saw Hitchiker's on Saturday afternoon and then to cap off the awesome weekend, we had one of the best cast parties ever at my house. We started a new RDC tradition of top ten lists. See we normally do Cast Awards, but with four different casts, none of which practiced together except the last night, it was raterh difficult to do. So the directors locked ourselves in the basement and came up with a few top ten lists that I think everyone enjoyed. A nice tradition from my high school that I got to leave with Rose. It was fun.
I should be studying for ECE 250 right now, but I don't feel like it and I needed a break anyway, and talking to fun people is great.
I think I will leave you with some sweet Dispatch that Nick and Adam have got me hooked on.
there was a decorated general with
a heart of gold, that likened him to
all the stories he told
of past battles, won and lost, and
legends of old a seasoned veteran in
his own time
on the battlefield, he gained
respectful fame with many metals
of bravery and stripes to his name
he grew a beard as soon as he could
to cover the scars on his face
and always urged his men on
but on the eve of a great battle
with the infantry in dream
the old general tossed in his sleep
and wrestled with its meaning
he awoke from the night
just to tell what he had seen
and walked slowly out of his tent
all the men held tall with their
chests in the air, with courage in
their blood and a fire in their stare
it was a grey morning and they all
wondered how they would fare
till the old general told them to go home
I have seen the others
and I have discovered
that this fight is not worth fighting
I have seen their mothers
and I will no other
to follow me where I'm going
Take a shower, shine your shoes
you got no time to lose
you are young men you must be living
go now you are forgiven
but the men stood fast with their
guns on their shoulders not knowing
what to do with the contradicting orders
the general said he would do his own
duty bout would not extend it not further
the men could go as they pleased
not a man moved, their eyes glazed
straight ahead till one by one they
stepped back and not a word was said
and the old general was left with his
own words echoing in his head
he then prepared to fight

The Way I Am on a Wednesday Night
So I haven't updated in a while, I've been busy. It happens. One Acts stuff piles up, and I really haven't had that much to say. I blog when I have something to say, and not because I haven't blogged yet that day. Eh, whatever.
So I really miss freshman year. More importantly I miss that connection Lindsey and I had. I see pieces of it this year, but it's just not the same. It was nice hanging out with Lindsey last night. It was like a taste of what we used to have. She understands me more than anyone on this earth does and it's really nice to just have someone who knows you like that. Also nice to get a "Lindsey massage" again. These are legendary. It was amazing. We also got a chance to just talk, something I haven't done with her in a good forever. It is nights like last night that make me wonder how things would be if I hadn't broken up with her years ago and had tried to make things work. I still know things are for the best with us as just friends, and that it would not have worked out in the long run, but I still miss what we had. However, it's nice to have a friend like her and I'm glad we were able to keep that much. She's too awesome of a person to let go of that.
In case you haven't noticed, my Cardinals soo rock. They are currently 14-5, in first in the division, up by 4 games. In case you don't follow baseball much, that's a hell of a start. It is currently the best record in baseball. Mark Mulder threw a 10 inning shutout of the Astros the other day. Now that's just nuts. The last time that happened was in 1988 when Greg Maddux pulled off this phenomenal feat. He was voted the MLB player of the week, to no surprise. Other nominees included fellow starters Matt Morris and Chris Carpenter, who have pitched amazingly. The starting pitching staff, which was blamed for the loss of the World Series and has been their weak point for years, is performing like no one else. And the offense has not let up either, but that was almost expected. This year seems to be the year for my birds. I am excited. This summer I plan to hit up Busch Stadium for the last year of it's existance. St. Louis is building a new awesome satadium, but you still have to pay your respects to the old one before it gets torn down. Anyone up for several road trips this summer?
It's getting late and I need bed so I will leave you with some Reality Check, that has been rocking out in my car lately. A reall awesome band.

Stellar on a Monday Night

So I think I will start each post with a fun quote or two. I was watching the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again" with Adam earlier, and it is hilarious. Love it.

I've been getting really into Dispatch. Such an excellent band. How did I go so long without hearing them?
Not really much to post tonight. These past few days have seemed to just pass by leaving me just rather numb. If you asked me what happened say an hour ago, it would take me a while to come up with an answer. Ever just have those days? I did.
So I finally got the pictures from Florida up. It was kind of funny, I got them back on Friday, Caroline's birthday. One of the rolls was definately started on her 19th birthday. That day was her 20th. See her parents sent me money to get a cake for her and they wanted me to take pictures of the cake, so they could see it. Well, I finally have it now, so she can give them to her parents. Oh well. She looks pretty cute in them too, although a lot younger than she does now, which was kinda weird.
Not much more for this post so I will leave ya with some Incubus. Gotta love Incubus.
Meet me in outer space.
We could spend the night;
watch the earth come up.
I've grown tired of this place;
won't you come with me?
We could start again.
How do you do it?
Make me feel like I do.
How do you do it?
It's better than I ever knew.
Meet me in outer space.
I will hold you close, if you're afraid of heights.
I need you to see this place, it might be the only way
that I can show you how
it feels to be inside of you.
Ohhh...
You are stellar.

So I think I will start each post with a fun quote or two. I was watching the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again" with Adam earlier, and it is hilarious. Love it.
Did you ever want to know me
Did you ever feel like I could
It's a silent steeple that carries us down
It's a silent steeple

Sadie Hawkins Dance on a Friday Night
Yes, it's still Friday to me. It's Friday till I go to bed, that's how it goes.
Its all about the he says she says bullshit
I think you better quit
Lettin shit slip
Or you’ll be leavin with a fat lip
Its all about the he says she says bullshit
I think you better quit
Talking that shit, punk, so come and get it
Those lyrics just seemd so appropriate.
So apparently today was decreed National Boys Suck Day by Sami and Jesseca. In observance of this new holiday of theirs, they decided not to talk to any boys all day. Apparently they were getting really tired of all of the girls suck comments that were abounding from Nick and Adam's room. However, some people were getting offended when they would do the same boy suck comments. Apparently, they tried just saying something how they did not like this, but were not listened to. I don't remember them ever saying anything to me, but maybe that just proves their point more. So they went to the extreme of shunning us for a day to make us pay attention. And for that I would have to say brilliant. This was an issue that I think needed to be addressed a while ago, but now, they have gotten all of our attentions. So while this topic is up, I will put my two cents in, whether they were wanted or not.
First of all, girls suck. Sorry girls, but your gender doesn't have the best record. However, before you get mad at me, notice this: Guys suck too. I realize this. My gender, like yours, doesn't always treat you perfectly. Sometimes the idiot/asshole is even me, I do make mistakes, and I realize that this isn't gonna make you too fond of my gender from time to time. It happens. It's a fact of life, but on behalf of my gender, I am sorry. I also know that it's not something I hold against you as a person or even your gender half the time, I just need to roll my eyes and vent about how the latest girl has been retarded leading me to the ever popular conclusion of girls suck.
Second of all, if the whole girls/guys suck comment is made in mixed company, chances are, it's not about you at all. In fact, it probably has nothing to do with you. Please do not take offense to it. Most people do not have the (pardon the expression) balls to bitch about how the opposite gender is screwing them over around the person who is causing them to believe this. So quit assuming it's about you.
You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you
Love that song. Ahh the irony.
Well, there's my two cents and be sure to put your input as well. Maybe there should be some rules like, don't bitch about the opposite gender if you can't take them bitch about yours. I really don't want to have to go through another day of exhile so girls can prove a point.
So baseball season is finally here. My Cardinals are currently in third place, only a half a game out of first place. Haven't gotten to watch more than the last half inning of a game yet though. Rather disappointing. And the time that I have the time to actually watch a game, the weekends, they are shown on the local channel in St. Louis. So sad. Even if I live and work here in the Haute, I plan to see quite a few games this year. So well worth it.
Well I am getting kind of tired, so I will leave you with some good ole Old School Relient K. This was one of my favorite songs, possibly the one to initially get me hooked on them. Sometimes I wonder why my high school never had a Sadie Hawkins Dance, or why Rose never has them, or who is Sadie Hawkins in the first place and why was this style of a dance named after them? All those questions, and it's past my bedtime. Peace.
All the girls in the bathroom talkin
who they gonna take to the Sadie Hawkins
My ears are burnin but I kept on walkin
smile on my face and an air guitar rockin
The Sadie Hawkins Dance
in my khaki pants
There's nothin better
oh oh oh
The girls ask the guys
it's always a surprise
There's nothin better
baby do you like my sweater?
Sittin in the back of my next class nappin
Got up, gave a speech, then bowed to the clapping
Told a funny joke got the whole class laughin
think I got a tan from the language which I was baskin
Scan the cafeteria for some good seating
I found a good spot by the cheerleaders eating
The quarterback asked me if I'd like a beating
I said that's one thing I won't be needing
And since I'm rather smart and cunning
I took off down the next hall running
Only to get stopped by a girl so stunning
only to get stopped by a girl so stunning?
She said, "You're smooth, and good with talkin.
You're going with me to the Sadie Hawkins"
Its all about the he says she says bullshit
I think you better quit
Lettin shit slip
Or you’ll be leavin with a fat lip
Its all about the he says she says bullshit

Cling and Clatter on a Sunday Night
So my computer is being really dumb right now and making really bad noises. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I am currently on Zach's computer. I hope he doesn't mind. Normally, I would ask him first, but he's asleep and it's not password protected, so that's the same as him okaying it, right?
So Florida was friggin' rockin'. I had such a blast. I have never had that much fun in one week before in my life. Definately looking forward to the house next year. These guys are so much fun to hang out with. Great pictures from the trip as well. They will be up Wednesday or Thursday night.
The beach is just amazing. During the day, we just rocked it out, soaked up the sun, and rode the waves like there was no tomorrow. And then at night, just walking the beach was the most relaxing thing in the world. Except that is, when we lost Bander. So Tuesday night, after a crazy couple of games of Kings, we decided to go walk the beach. While we were there we decided to drunk dial a few friends, definate good times, and just pass the phone around, sometimes talking to people we didn't even know. Then Bander has to 'go potty', so Nick tells him to just go in the dunes. Well, he walks to the dunes and then forgets why he was headed in that direction in the first place. So he keeps going past the dunes, while the rest of us are just messing around on the beach, doing what drunk people do. He gets past the dunes and onto the boardwalk and realizes he really needs to use the rest room, so not knowing where that would be, he heads back to the beach house. After about 15 minutes and Bander did not come back from the dunes, we get a little worried. Mind you this is just shortly after Sami has told a drunk Nick to keep an eye on Bander, because he is rather drunk and has never drank before.
So Adam, Nick and I go look for Bander, realizing we have lost him and knowing how drunk people like to wander and then pass out in random areas (we really did not want him molested by some random drunk homeless guy--there were quite a few there). Mike had already headed back to the beach house as he was on the phone with Caroline and I think kind of embarassed. Whatever. F#@$ing kangaroos. Hokay, so Nick calls Bander's cell, but Bander is not picking up (apparently it was back at the house) so we split up to try to find him and to meet at a center spot in 15. Adam and Nick head in opposite directions on the board walk, while I head up a street to First St.
As I am walking I see a couple of very fine ladies approaching me, so I go up to them to see if they have seen my short, skinny, drunk friend. Apparently this sounded like a pick up line to them, so they chuckled and told me they had not, but they would like to know about this club down the street and if you have to be 21 to get in as they were both only 18. I had to admit that I was not from around here and had no clue, to which they could not believe. About this time Adam comes up, having gotten a call from Nick. When he sees the attractive ladies with me, he hurries to join the conversation. He let me know that Nick talked with a homeless guy that had described Bander perfectly, so Bander had probably headed in that direction. This confirmed my story and they realized it wasn't just a pick up line, so they were intrigued and wanted to go on this 'scavenger hunt' with us. Of course, we agreed. Shortly after we get another call from Nick that he had found Bander at the house and that he was okay. At this time we were with a couple lovely women and did not plan to just ditch them and head back to the house so we hung out with them for a little on the town.
We went to that club the girls were talking about, but turns out you had to be 21 to get in. The guy checking IDs was gonna make an offer to let them come in with us (I guess he just assumed both Adam and I were 21) and they would have to stay in the corner and promise not to drink, but they wanted to dance and to be stuck in the corner was not their idea of fun, so we walked around some more. At this time, Nick calls again, wondering where we were, but Adam responds with, "Don't worry, we will be back later." Nick got the message. With out hinting much of all, Nick knew exactly what was going on, and you gotta tip your hat to Nick on that one.
Then some hobo on a bike came up and asked if he heard some screaming. When told him there was no screaming over here, he continued on interupting the conversation and trying to hit on the girls. Not taking hints, finally I asked what time it was and was like, "Um, don't we have to be meeting someone somewhere, um, now?" Everyone else picked up on it and get the hell out of there. That guy looked like he was gonna get violent to Adam and I at any moment as was a rather scary guy.
By now, the girls are ready to just call it a night, realizing they were not gonna be getting into any of the local clubs to dance. Adam and I offered for them to come back with us to the beach house, however, they didn't feel going to the beach house of some random guys they had just met at about 1 am was a rather good idea. I can see their point, although I think it would have been fun. Hanging out with the guys is great, but it is nice to have women around every once in a while. So Adam and I politely say good night and head back to the house. As we get to the house, Nick and Mike jump out of the back yard, so proud of their recent accomplishment.
Apparently, Nick and Mike ran to where we were when Nick called Adam and figured out what was going on. Wanting to see these two girls they ran out and decided to spy on us and follow us. We didn't have a clue they were near us the entire time. But what they were most proud of was that they were able to do this all without saying a word, just using what they had seen from all the WWII video games they had played. Talk about toolish.
So in all, a fun night was had by everyone.
Nick's racing game demo has been fun. Can't wait for the full version to come out.
Feeling a little sad and a little abandoned right now. The future is unclear. Kinda confused.
Loved movie night tonight. We watched 'Eulogy.' A good movie.
Feeling kinda random right not, but that'll happen. (That will happen)
So apparently, Bunny scheduled One Acts the weekend before Picasso, but refuses to work with us so that both shows can have a set. She is definately showing which show she gives a rat's ass about. There way to make it so we both can have a set and to allow for the One Acts to be able to use stage area, it just requires a little flexibilty in the Picasso set. It's not hard at all. When we did Picasso, we could take down the set and put it up in 20 minutes. In this case, we have a week. If a high school can do it in under 20 minutes, why can't a very tech savy college be able to do it in a week?? As the producer I feel the need to put my foot down and have a nice word with Bunny, making a few demands. We definately need to work on some issues with the drama club and its structure and constitution and such. I mean serious work.
So a hundred points a piece to the four guys I spent an awesome time in Florida with. Gonna be a good time living with you guys. Another fifty points to my Sunday dinner peeps. I love Sunday dinner. Another fifty points to Jess for just being you. A hundred points to Sami for making me feel special and like I'm actually worth something, and for great laughs, but mostly for just being awesome. Twenty more points to Adam and Nick for awesome steak and another twenty to Adam for homemade onion rings (and he's still single, go figure). Twenty points to Bander for being the weirdest pick-up line that has ever worked for me. Thirty-five points to Nick for an inventive way to store a quarter can of chili (who does that?) and fifteen to Mike for being his trusty sidekick. Fifty points a piece to Jennah, Sami, Jesseca, Caroline and Amy for awesome Beach calls. You all rock my world.
Well, it's getting kinda late and I told myself I would get to bed around midnight tonight (I guess that's not happening) so I will leave you with some Lifehouse which has just been my mood as of late. Lifehouse is so perfect for a good run on the beach. And runs on the beach are marvelous. Definately something I'm gonna miss. But I digress.
too many voices
it won't take long
which one's right
and which one's wrong
and yours is most likely to be misunderstood
screaming in tongues
at the top of my lungs
till I find you
till you found me and somehow
I always knew that you would
and I am contemplating matters
all this cling and clatter
in my head
and what you said is ringing
ringing faster
and it's all good
if you would stop the world from making sense
and if I could
just realize it doesn't really matter
doesn't really matter
doesn't really matter
if I could touch the sound of silence now
you know I would
if I knew how
to make these intentions come around
and now I'm hearing without listening
and believing every word that you're not saying
speaking without a sound
trapped inside of these four walls
walking brainless muppet dolls
mushroom face beneath the tangles
bleeding silhouette inside
dancing like an angel would

Hanging By a Moment on a Monday Night
So I realize that I haven't blogged in a while, but I also have not been in the best of moods lately either. Now I realize a lot of people that read my blog, blog better when they aren't in a good mood, but I'm more of the opposite.
I'm rather looking forward to One Acts this year. I am now directing one and things are going rather well with it. I am also producing them as well, which should be fun. Here is a quick summary of the shows we are doing:
“Good Business Sense” directed by Bob Prescott
(comedy, 1 male, 1 female, 1 genderless) Barth has Good Business Sense, and tonight he's making the boardroom presentation of his life: a proposal of marriage to the equally industrious Claudia. Everything is perfect -- including the ring for which his assistants shopped everywhere. But she wants flowers and violins, not charts and graphs...
"Iphigenia in Orem" directed by Christian Gage
(drama, 1m) This show is the third show of a one-act trilogy entitled Bash: Latterday Plays, written by Neil LaBute. The show is a first-person tale that takes places in a Las Vegas hotel room, where a lonely traveling businessman confides in a stranger a chilling story. The show has been controversial since its publishing, yet has been presented in sold-out theatres across New York. The show is to be taken as life, presented to the audience in all its cruelty and absurdity.
"Thinking Up a New Name for the Act" directed by Bob Schulein
(comedy, 1m, 1f, 2-9g) Pete hits on the phrase "Meat and Potatoes" as the perfect name for their vaudeville act, but Lucy doesn't like it. They get into a terrible fight, and Lucy kills Pete. A police investigation, trial and execution quickly follow. And the only words in this farcical sketch are "meat and potatoes."
“Mr. Show” directed by Brandon Javella
(comedy, 8+g) Mr. Show began in 1995 starring David Cross and Bob Odenkirk and their assembled band of starving comedians. The show quickly garnered a cult following with their irreverent and off the wall style. The satirical show survived 4 seasons and spawned a spin off movie. The piece we will be performing for one acts contains several of their best sketches including the classic "Can I Use This Chair?" sketch. If you are a fan of Monty Python, SNL, or Chappelle's Show, then you will enjoy helping out with this piece.
Should be an interesting show.
So I got an email from a really annoying kid in Rose Drama Club about his interest in my show today, and I really didn't even want to consider him for a role. But after talking to Kiki tonight I really realized that I need to give him the benefit of the doubt and at least consider him and withold judgement until after auditions. I kinda owe it to my drama club to completely have an open mind for any one that would like to try out and make decisions strictly on the audition and not to dismiss someone before I've seen what they can do now. Yeah, he may suck recently, but who knows, he may have worked ahrd and imroved by auditions and I owe it to all who try out as a director to start auditions with a clean slate. Gonna be tough. The kid really annoys me.
I think I'll end with some Lifehouse that really talks to me right now. I love Lifehouse, such a great band.
Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer to where I started
Chasing after you
I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you
Forgetting all I'm lacking
Completely incomplete
I'll take your invitation
You take all of me now...
I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you
I'm living for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure where to go
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you
There's nothing else to lose
There's nothing else to find
There's nothing in the world
That can change my mind
There is nothing else

Numb on a Wednesday Night
So I have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I hate this. I would like to leave an audition feeling like the director has seen a good chunk of what I can do. The last time I left an audition with a pretty good feeling, was well, for Picasso back in high school. I was told they no longer needed me before they even had me read for Picasso, the part Bunny even told me she could see me as. Auditions here are a joke. Why are they run by the technical director?? The director, herself, really doesn't do squat but sit there and watch. Um, who's show is this? Well, anyway, I asked Bunny if I could read for Picasso, which Bunny who hates confrontation, of course agreed to. Although she had me read the other scene with Picasso, not the one we had seen before and could show that I can do it better than those who had done it already. I think a few of the other people who read for Picasso got his ego down for the most part, but don't seem to get him past the ego. I wanted to show all the aspects of Picasso and it can be shown so well in the scene others read for. I think I did a pretty good job with the scene I was given though. I showed an egotistical, loved by the ladies and he knows it, frantic artist, without overplaying a certain one. I pulled the room in and not a sound was heard but Danna and I. At the end they clapped with Greg saying, we're done with you as if to say, it all doesn't matter, go home. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I've been screwed lately enough with the stealing of my show and not being allowed to direct because a member of film club and someone who isn't even a student any more were directing that I don't need this as well. Maybe all this ranting is premature, but I have a horrible feeling about it.
In other news, I have lost my cell phone. If you know where it is, please let me know as I am looking frantically all over the place for it. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Hmmm, so not much else to say. I think I will leave you with some Tait that just seems to fit right now.
Slipping away
Are we sleeping at the wheel and unaware now
Has the population put us in a trance now
Overtaken by the tide and washed away now
What do you say now
In a daze
Are we moving in the motion of the crowd now
Slowly losing everything we were about now
Is it time to draw a line in the sand now
And take a stand now
Somebody talk to me
Am I all alone
When are we gonna wake up
Are we numb
Is the feeling gone
Tell me what went wrong
Are we numb
Close your eyes
Let the world pass by
Now you're hypnotized
Are we numb
Moving away
From the heart of everything we tried to be now
Just stop look and tell me what you see now
We've been taken like the winds across the sea now
We've gotta break free now
Mesmerized
Desensitized
Before my eyes
I'm paralyzed
We're drifting, we're dreaming, we're floating away
So many times we just watch pass by
The tick tock of life leaving us hypnotized
Mesmerized a stun gun leaving you in a daze
Better wake up now before you find yourself slipping away
All we know
Is the feeling numb

Drive Away on a Friday Afternoon
So it's a Friday and I'm in a pretty good mood. It's been a good week. Kiki came on Tuesday, which was awesome. I finally got to show her my campus. On Wednesday the weather cooperated and was most beautiful. I think Mother Nature has finally decided to move on to Spring. ::knock on wood::
Enjoying the Gratitude. Nick introduced me to this band a couple of weeks ago and I think they are growing on me. I like their style. I've never had much time to sit down and really listen to them though, but I like them right now. He told me the new CD is as good as the new Relient K CD, which I wouldn't go that far, but still not bad.
So for Spring break, we are now looking to go to Florida. For only $300 too. Bander is working out the major details, but sounds like a great time. Right now it is me, Nick, Adam, Bander, and Jamal. Mike is still going John Kerry on us, not sure if he's going right now, but may change his mind ten times before break.
"I still would have gone to Florida, knowing what I do now, I just would have gone differently."
I am really like all of my profs right now. I think I really lucked out on the profs I have this term. Even the guy that I didn't think I was gonna like at the beginning I have started liking him lately. Should be a good term.
So the apartment hunt continues and we may have found a winner. And the winner isn't an apartment at all actually, but a house. Which is actually our cheapest option it looks. A nice 1 story house with 2 large bedrooms, a huge bathroom, a full kitchen with breakfast nook, two large living rooms, a study and a half of a unfinished basement with washer and dryer included. All this for $800 a month including utilities. Sounds like a deal to me.
Well lunchtime soon, so I will leave you with some Gratitude lyrics. Good stuff. This song rather spoke to me today. Maybe it will speak to you like me.
if you ever see her lying hurt don't just stare
please get up, get up, get up and help her
and then check her pulse and give her air
and then listen and breathe and keep checking and checking and checking
her heart
don't drive away
don't leave her this way
don't drive away again
i could never say the things that kept me up
just lay there listening to your whispering
maybe you were supposed to help me learn to love you more
help me to notice how we're
different different different and all right
don't drive away
don't leave her this way
there's not enough hours in our days
don't drive away
don't drive away
don't walk out on her again, again

Trying on a Sunday Night
So this weekend has been a pretty good one. I went home on Friday to pick up a few things that I had forgot back at home, and hung out with Amy that night. That night was a good one, if not just for the fact I know for sure I am over Amy. I think this is the first time I can say that without a doubt in my mind and total confidence. I have thought I was over her a few times before, but then I would see her, and it would all come rushing back. But this time was different. For once I could look at her and simply see a good friend of mine. It was a great feeling.
Stars and Cresent Ball was last night. We had a blast. I looked great, of course, but not as great as Sami did. We took a lot of pictures, so I'll have to try to convince Sami to out them online so you guys can see them.
After the formal, Sami and I went back to New Res to hang out and we watched my dinner theatre on DVD. It was great. And then proceeded to play Smash Bros. for a couple hours before going to IHOP, the ultimate late late night festivity. But when we got to IHOP they were packed. Apparently some Toby Keith concert was in the Haute that night and so several, and by several I mean thousands, people hit up IHOP. So we had to go to Steak 'n Shake, which is pretty good, but is definately no IHOP. Especially when you are in the mood for a nice big omalette and a stack of pancakes. Daing, that is a sweet meal you might say. After Steak 'n Shake, at the great hour of five, I was exhausted and went to bed. But boy, what a fun night.
T-minus a day and a half and counting. :-P
So I got carried away and created a Final Four Bracket Pool for those who read my blog. Even those who are in my other bracket group should join. I just think it would be fun to see how it goes for the random people who read. The name of the group is: Blog Stalkers Anonymous and the password is: rrrandom. Everyone should totally join, just for kicks.
Well, I don't have much else here, so I will leave you with some Lifehouse. Such a great band.
Could you let down your hair
Be transparent for awhile, just a little while
To see if you're human after all
Honesty is a hard attribute to find
When we all want to seem like
We've got it all figured out
Well let me be the first to say that I don't have a clue
I don't have all the answers
Ain't gonna pretend like I do
Just trying
To find my way
Trying
To find my way the best I know how
Well I haven't memorized all of the cute things to say
But I'm working on it
Maybe I'll master this art form someday
If I quote all the lines off the top of my head
Would you believe
That I fully understand all these things I've read
Well I haven't got it all figured out quite yet but
Even if it takes my whole life to get to where I need to be
And if I should fall to the bottom of the end
I'll be one step back to you, and
I'm trying to find my way

More Than Fine on a Thrusday Night
So just feeling kind of weird right now. Why is it that it seems that the only people here not excited to see me back are my fellow Rose Drama Club officers. And I'm not one to think that everyone should be so excited to see me back, although it is a great feeling, but there seems to be a rather awkwardness instead. Like a "shoot, we really weren't expecting you back.....um....hi?" kind of thing. It's really weird. Am I just being rather self centered to wish that my fellow officers would be very happy to see me back? I mean, theatre is one of my favorite parts of Rose and some random freshman that I didn't recognize was more excited to see me back than those who elected me to lead. Did they feel let down that I had to leave for a term? I would stay if I could, believe me. But I was not given that option, like Robbie was.
And I feel bad being a little bitter there too. Robbie is in the same situation as I was in for the winter, and so Greg offers him a job at Stage Logic so he could stay here. And from what I hear, paying pretty well. I would have loved that so much. But I got more of an, "oh, that sucks, I'm sorry, if there is anything we can do let me know." I didn't think a basic internship was an option. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I think my biggest fear through this all is that I am not gonna get cast in Picasso. That would piss me off more than anything. That is my favorite show without a doubt. I was gonna direct that show, but Bunny stole it from me, and then mentioned maybe now I could be in it to kind of ease the situation so I would be alright about it. And this pissed off several people because they know I cast based on ability, not how much they remind me of my kids. Which leads to my next rant.
It drives me up the wall that Bunny does not cast based on how good they would do the part or how much potential they show at auditions. It is all on how popular she is with the person. She doesn't seem to have a clue with musicals. She doesn't have the best ear for music, which isn't a big deal. I don't really either. But if I were to direct a One Act I would have whoever is in charge of the music aspect (the choir director) there for auditions and they can critique the music aspect and I'd do the acting aspect. But she casts not based on this at all. Eric Volz can get whatever part he wants and so could Alicia. They are her favorites whether they do a good job with the part or not. Now I know casting is not easy, but there is a reason you hold auditions. It seems that we would get the same result if she sent an email seeing who is interested and those who she has not had in shows before submit a photo attachment with interest. The organization of these shows do not seem to be at a high level.
I know the difficulty of a full production, having done one myself, but I also know how easy it can be to just get stuff planned before you start. I had an auditon packet before anyone came to auditions. This way people already knew what they were getting themselves into. It stated the planned time to practice as well as an intro to the show from me. Then the next page was an audition form, so we could start auditions as soon as I stated auditions would be. Why waste time on something you can get done on your own? Then the next 5-6 pages were simply the scenes I was using to audition, so people could look over it before auditions once again. Why waste time for people to look over it a couple times before they audition with it, when they could already be rather familiar with it. It also shows the people who are really interested and have put a lot of time into it already. These are people you can depend on. Then at auditions, I did have some people in mind for a couple parts, but I had several read for it to see if they had something I liked better. A couple of the people showed me that they fit the part well as well as people I had in mind for a certain part showed me they were better suited for a different one. I came to auditions with a totally open mind and was wowed by a couple actors. Is it sad that I'm beginning to think I could do it better.
Ok, done with the rant for now.
Well first few days of school have been going pretty well. I have been going to all of my classes and as far as homework goes, I have been actually a little ahead. Kind of a mice feeling. There is no better motivation than three months at home. It's like a three month sentence to a minimum security prison. Not bad enough to have horror stories, but enough try your best to make sure you don't go back.
My programming course has been rather fun so far. Right now we are working on the game Lights Out. Shouldn't be too hard of a program, a lot like the Minesweeper game we had freshman year, so probably more like a quick review of programming before diving into more advanced concepts.
Good news, the prof that I didn't care for much the first day has been a lot better the past couple of days, so that's looking up.
So I was hoping to direct a one act this spring, but apparently five directors is too many. So they gave preference to a film club director and someone who is no longer a student here preference over me. No bitterness. They offered to let me be the producer instead which I guess is better than nothing, but I have come to really love directing. Oh well. As long as I get into Picasso. Not to repeat myself, or anything, but I love it so much.
We had a meeting this morning for the Sports Information internship. I have to submit a cover letter and at least two writing samples and a letter of recommendation from someone other than my boss. I'm not sure who I would ask. Since being at Rose, he's been the guy I get my recommendations from. Eh, I'll figure something out.
Well, I should do some more homework, so I don't have to worry about it this weekend. So I'll leave ya with some Switchfoot.
When I wake in the morning
I want to blow into pieces
I want more than just ok, more than just ok
When I'm up with the sunrise
I want more than just the blue skies
I want more than just ok, more than just ok
I'm not givin' up, givin' up, not givin' up now
I'm not givin' up, givin' up, not backing down
More than fine, more than bent on getting by
More than fine, more than just ok
When I'm wet with the sunshine
I want more than just a good time
I want more than just ok, more than just ok. Ok
More than oceans away from the dawn
More than oceans away from the dawn
More than oceans away from who we are
More than oceans, more than oceans, yeah
And I feel bad being a little bitter there too. Robbie is in the same situation as I was in for the winter, and so Greg offers him a job at Stage Logic so he could stay here.

Sing on a Monday Night
So my boss from the job back at home is retarded. She left a message on my cell phone today because she was looking over the timesheet and she noticed that I had not been at work all of last week. She wanted to know what had happened and if there was a medical problem or something. ::blink, blink:: I QUIT!!!! I gave her a two week notice, she wrote it down in my file (I saw her do it), I even called the day before my last to remind her that the next day would be my last so she could make sure she has someone to replace me the following week, and they were wondering where I was. And it even took a week for them to figure out I was gone. WTF, mate??
So today was my first day of classes. Not too bad, sounds like I'm gonna have a few good profs, but I fear my Electronic Device Modeling prof is a d-bag. It could have just been today, or maybe it was late in the day on little sleep, I dunno, but I really did not care for him today. He was even telling the class that he no longer handed out his notes because "a few retards in the term before us commented on the evaluations that it seemed like he simply read from his notes and didn't do anything else", so now we just don't have the notes to know if he does that or not. He doesn't improve his teaching from the eval, but cover his faults better. Yeah that's the kind of guy I want to learn from. Whatever. At least I still have Sherman, Mutchler and Casey. These three seem like three excellent profs. I've had Casey before and he teaches very well and you can go talk to him any time. As long as I stay organized in that class, I should be fine. Mutchler believes in a lot of doing to learn programming which I strongly agree with, as well as he will be teaching us C as well, which will come in handy for my CPE classes. Sherman is rather funny and definately knows his stuff, so I look forward to that class. I am looking forward to getting back into a rhythm again. I also have the best schedule that I think may have ever had here at Rose. I have the lightest load I've ever had with only 16 credit hours, and I even have a weekend Wednesday. Very quality. Now I just have twenty two-day weeks to get through, something much more manageable. That was one thing I liked about my job back at home. I got to work at 8 and then we had a fifteen minute break at 10, work till half hour lunch break at noon, work till break at 2:30 then get off at 4:30. I never worked more than two hours at a time, making work a lot more bearable. When you keep your mind set at only x minutes till my next break, that x minutes was never more than 120, in fact you rarely started looking at the clock again till you had been working for an hour, so now its less than an hour till your next break, instead of counting down how long you are there that day. But here at Rose, with weekend Wednesdays, my Mondays feel like Thursdays and my Tuesdays like Fridays. A lot better way to get through the week.
Well not much more here. I'll leave ya with some Jars of Clay. Great band. I love their simple acoustic melodies. Awesome lyrics.
I love the way, I love the way you carry on
You make me wanna say, you make me wanna sing another love song
Sing another love song, sing another love song
Sing another love song to you
Bury my head for the shame, you pick me up, you say I look like
you
Though it makes no sense to me, You make me believe that I could
trust someone
I walk through flame, I touch the fire, you know that I still
burn for you
Flood water rain crash down, soak the ground, still I thirst for
you
Still I thrist for you
Sing another love song, sing another love song
Though it makes no sense to me, you make me wanna sing
Make me wanna sing

Back in Black on a Sunday Afternoon
So in case I haven't already told you I got back in. Just thought I may start this post announcing my awesome news. I am excited to get this thing started again. Not much to say other than rock friggin on. More to come later.
I'll end on some rather appropriate AC/DC lyrics.
Back in black
I hit the sack
I've been too long I'm glad to be back [I bet you know I'm...]
Yes, I'm let loose
From the noose
That's kept me hanging about
I've been looking at the sky
'Cause it's gettin' me high
Forget the hearse 'cause I never die
I got nine lives
Cat's eyes
Abusin' every one of them and running wild
'Cause I'm back
Yes, I'm back
Well, I'm back
Yes, I'm back
Well, I'm back, back
(Well) I'm back in black
Yes, I'm back in black
I'll end on some rather appropriate AC/DC lyrics.

God Can You Hear Me on a Thursday Night
So I am sitting at Rose...chillin'....daing, that is a sweet Eart you might say...rooooound. Ok that was kind of random, but fun. I love that video, it never quite gets old.
So tomorrow is the day of judgement. No not the apocalypse, but close enough. I meet with the Board of Admissions and Standing to try and get back into Rose. Wish me luck and please please keep me in your prayers. I'm not sure if I can take another six months of being at home. I miss class so much as well. I miss working my brain and problem solving. I miss writing programs that do some pretty cool stuff. I miss having something to show for my efforts of the past month or so. I miss all the awesome people around all the time. I miss the most awesome Sunday night dinners--Sunday nights just aren't the same without them. I miss talks for way to long with some awesome people. I miss the routine of class, and absorbing as much information I can till my head may explode. In short, I miss Rose, everything about it.
It's been a pretty good week. Let rewind all the way to the play. My dinner theatre went very well. We got a great response from everyone who saw it. Some even told me that we should tour with it. It was such a great experience. My first full-length production. I had a most amazing cast too. These kids grew so much as actors, which was totally awesome to watch. One of the most rewarding experiences as a director, especially with such a young and inexperienced cast. There were a few screw ups as far as lines go, but that's live theatre for you. And they covered so well and stayed in character better than probably any cast I have ever been apart of. Yes, that includes both West and Rose theatre. I was just amazed at the ability they showed when it came down to it. At the end, I was actually emotionally caught up. These kids that I watched start out with such raw talents, had matured in the art so greatly. And I could depend on them so well. I seriously could not ask for a better cast. And they were so responsive to me as a director, that they were often a director's dream. I cannot express anything but pride for this cast.
So Nick and I went road tripping rather randomly these past few days. It was so much fun and so just spontaneous. First we went to Eastern to see Kiki, which was of course good times. We just hung out, got some Little Cesar's, and watched Harry Potter, since I had never seen any of them. I must say, some quality entertainment. I quite honestly don't see what the big fuss was about them. Why does my mother and so many right wing extremists hate them? It just confuses me. It's fantasy. I mean last time I looked, there were no half horse, half falcons roaming around. I dunno.
Yesterday we left Eastern and went to Chicago to see my little sister, Kasey. She has a nice little dorm, but very dirty suitemates. Wow. I have never seen a dirtier bathroom in my life. I know it's not Kasey, as I know Kasey and her cleanliness, but wow, I cannot describe how dirty that bathroom was. If you saw it and I told you it was a girl's bathroom, you would not believe me, but it's true. Besides being afriad to use the bathroom, the trip was great. We got there early and so we roamed the streets of Chicago, looking for a coffeeshop, like Starbucks or something. Amazingly enough, this was not easy to do. We finally found one and they closed at eight. Eight?! It's not like it was in the middle of six colleges (we counted them) and college students over want coffee after eight, especially if they are writing a paper. At least Java Haute is open 24 hours a day. And right on the way between Rose and our apartment next year. Hmmm, I think they may just get a little business from us next year........ Anyway, then Kasey finally got off work, so she took us up to her room, gave a tour of the place and we hung out. We watched some Boondock Saints and Jenny came over. It was some good times. Then this morning Kasey took us to lunch in between her crazy schedule of work and class. I don't know how she survives 35 hours of work a week and a full class load. Daing. Anywho, we went to this place called "Got Pizza?" which had some awesome pizza I must say. And then she had to head off to work for a while so we came back to Rose. Good times. I loved a lot fo the just driving around, and just talking with Nick. It was good times. Driving is so soothing sometimes.
Well not many deep thoughts from Bob right now, kinda way too focused on my meeting in the morning. Grrrrrrrrr. Not looking forward to it. Kind of have a bad feeling, which is not cool. I keep running over a billion and half scenarios in my head. I hate it, there's only one that I really like. Blah. Well I'll leave you with some Tait as I head to bed to get plenty of sleep before my interview with the infamous board. Peace.
I've been here before
It's hard to ignore
I'm so used to fighting
The same old wars
Oh what do you see when your looking at me
Have I taken You for granted
I can't afford this pain anymore
Won't You help me understand it
God can You hear me
I need You here tonight
I'm tired of pretending that everything's alright
And I know, I know that You hold tomorrow
But I need You here tonight
I want to feel
I need something real
I want to go closer to You
I lay down my will
Oh this human disease it's killing me
Tell me have I been left stranded
I can't ignore this pain anymore
Won't You help me understand it
Say won't You say that
You'll carry me
Carry me through the storm
Stay
Won't You stay
Till the morning comes
Morning comes
Just stay
